Same situation happened to me. It was so strange! I couldn’t figure out what his angle was. I finally responded to a “hey” with “please don’t contact me again”.

Went out with a guy awhile ago who I met online. I thought we would hit it off based on mutual interests, but in real life we didn’t really click. I think he just wanted a hookup, but I wasn’t interested. After the date, he hinted at sending nude pictures, I said no, and then I stopped hearing from him.

Except now he texts me randomly every few weeks, and it’s always something like “hey” or “I’m out shopping!” and if I respond, he never replies back. I’m not saying anything offensive, just something like “hey, how have you been?” Then....crickets.

I got another “Hey” today, and I’m not going to reply back anymore, I’m just curious why he’s doing this. I can understand putting feelers out, but why send a text and then never respond? Is he hoping I’ll reply to “Hey” with “here’s a picture of my boobs, let’s have sex tonight!”? Is he just drunk when he sends them? Why??!!
