Subject: IAC Lacrosse 2019 Season
If Coach Belisrtri can get the Senior parents to allow their boys to play as a team with the focus on winning vs individual stats, plus balance the Sophomore talent with Senior talent, I wouldn’t count Bullis out of the IAC. Tough challenge for sure.
Behind the scenes, because of the above 2 challenges plus accusations from this past Summer fiasco, parents between grades really don’t care for each other. Not sure there will be any effect on the field by the Spring, but certainly a new undertone to look out for.

Well they can't be worse than they've been the last several years. 
But they are knocking people off now and are competitive. With the increased parity this season, anything can happen.

Mmm, they beat Landon. They beat SSSA. I agree within the IAC they are still bottom half. But give Hyland and Heeter and he boys some credit - they are making some progress, and so yes, up and coming.

This should be Prep’s year. Bullis would be the only one to stand in their way, and the soap opera at Bullis cannot end well.
These STA boosters need to stop. They graduated 2 poles who were the backbone of the defense, including one who had to be the most talented if unheralded defensive player at STA in my years of watching IAC lax. No strong poles waiting in the wings as far as I’ve heard. They also lose 2 offensive players who were the spark plugs that moved their offense. Probably enough offensive talent in place and some coming up to shore things up but not he same threat as last year for sure. They still have a talented FOGO, but he can’t carry what’s left of the team on his shoulders.
Don’t understand why everyone is so down on SSSA. Hands down they have the best coaching in the IAC. Should be enough young talent on the team to put them in contention.

Not sold on GP coaching staff. They graduated their two best offensive players who were 3-year starters and lead the teams in points the past two seasons. The Hoyas bring back a very strong defense and goalie so they should keep games tights next Spring however, their offense could struggle.
The Saints, similar to Landon, graduated a very strong senior class and will be in reloading mode. I agree with you though, I wouldn't even count them out or Landon as they always have enough kids in the pipeline coming up.
Despite the recent drama with the Bullis coaching staff, they should stay strong.

STA didn't graduate much and continue to put a new emphasis on their lacrosse program. Episcopal also looked very strong this summer.

Too early for this thread but with all the recent drama at Bullis, anyone can win it next Spring, YES even St. Albans might have a chance.
The IAC will be very down for their standards next Spring. The 2018 senior class was very deep.

Yeah, I know, the season is a ways off...but all this Bullis drama makes the IAC picture pretty murky, and I’d imagine there will be a lot of off season changes in terms of coaching and players so why not begin the predictions, speculation and arguments now? Lol.
