I'm somewhat hesitant of switching my kindergartner. He's in a private school setting right now with less than 20 kids in his class. I don't know how well he would transition to a larger class in another language. It's a big decision to make in a very short period of time. I would be interested to hear how other kids have faired when being switched after school started.
I would totally do it. The immersion programs are going to end up going to 8th grade so if it works you will be set until High School. If it doesn't work, put him back in Private.

So now i'm wondering - if my child does make it in by the end of the month, how do we manage the transition to a new school after 1+ month at the original school? This is a kindergartner. The new school would have entirely different schedule, would mean bus riding instead of car drop offs, etc. What do you think?
Thanks.
