Ha. There's very little that is prestigious about Chevy Chase. The really rich/powerful live in Dupont, Kalorama or Georgetown. --Signed, Chevy Chase resident.

Just curious why the Town of Chevy Chase isn't on the list. Especially since they have the Supreme Justice! I thought the only other possible justice in CC is Kavanaugh ( who is in the village). Neither is Somerset or East CC. Are you trying to stay away from walkability to a metro?

Wrong. PP is describing Section 4. Section 5 is east of Connecticut, just a bit further north than Section 3. Also very close to shops on Brookville Rd.

Bizarre post. East West Hwy close to Rockville? On the West side you can walk to Bethesda metro, shops etc. it is many miles from Rockville.

To OP -- as you get father east, east of Brookville toward Beach Drive, prices do go down. I am not sure which of those blocks are part of incorporated the Chevy Chase sections, though.

And anything north of East West Highway (i.e. unincorporated north Chevy Chase)

Jeez OP, there are few places in Chevy Chase that would be classified as a "dump."

None of them are dumps. They are all lovely. Chevy Chase Village is a cut above because the houses and lots are larger and the streets are wider. And they have their own private police force. The other three are all comparable with smaller houses on smaller lots and narrow - sometimes very narrow - streets. Happy to try to answer any more specific questions.
