Bus companies will require a monitor for kids that age so you’ll need to factor that into the cost.

I would not do this unless there was a parent who'd accompany the kids every day.

But no, year after year after year the same question.

And this response epitomizes the helpfulness of DCUM, doesn't it?

Exactly. I don't know why any of us come to each other for perspective. So many of the posters are just so vile and rude. Very rarely are the posters on here kind or helpful.

This was unnecessary. Why do you care?

Is Stokes a 'walk your child into school each day' charter?

Not sure they are set up for a driver to offload 3 or more students and get them settled.

For that age range, I wouldn't suggest a service. Maybe a nanny who can use their employer's SUV or mini van.

elementary age kids at our private use one of the local kid oriented transportation services and they have had issues such as late pick ups, drivers not being the best dealing with kids, bad driving (speeding and slamming on breaks), etc. At least school age kids can report such issues.

OP here. Yep, I'm a Stokes East End parent and am involved with that group.

Do a search on this forum. This comes up every year.

You may want to go into the Stokes EE various posts. I believe parents from there are also doing this.
