Second, I think parents are afraid to put a lot of even semi-detailed information on these public boards. I had a teacher tell me that APS monitors this stuff (hi, y'all!). We love our listservs in Arlington. If people are looking for information on specific schools and help with tough situations, join SEPTA, the ArlingtonReading or ArlingtonADHD yahoo groups, MONA special moms, etc. Offer to chat offline. You can learn a lot that way. Arlington parents are a super nice bunch, and many are tired of living in the silos created by their kids IEPs and 504s.
