I love my Fitbit Versa. I don’t have the special edition since I didn’t think I’d use the pay feature.

How can you say they are both accurate when giving different data?

I love my Apple watch. It's everything in one - heart rate, stairs, calorie burn, steps, workout reminders, standing each hour reminders, phone, calendar, text, email, notifications (e.g., NYT).

There are two Apple watch sizes. I have the smaller and don't find it bulky at all.

Also, my versa gets a solid 3 days off of a charge even though I’m always fiddling with it, running Fitbit coach, etc.

I do agree with the above poster about improved step accuracy, but I think that's because Fitbit Versa and Apple are both using GPS to determine your stride length rather than using a general calculation based on height, etc.

I didn't get the Apple Watch because of cheapness and my previous Fitbit (Charge HR) lasted 4 years.

Thanks! Maybe the Versa will work! Did you get the special edition? -OP

I regret not getting the special edition because now I see the benefit of the autopay feature ( I think that’s the only extra feature ). I was unfamiliar/ not sold on smart watches, but now I get it. Love seeing texts and all othe phone app notifications without having to check my phone. And you can see all of your stats with a flip of the wrist.

I have an early generation Apple Watch but it doesn't track sleep or stairs. When I first got it I wore it alongside the Fitbit to compare and the Apple Watch counted more steps than Fitbit.

I stopped using my Apple watch because I got sick of charging it so often. I use my Fitbit now. In regards to the poster above saying that the Fitbit inflates the numbers it does not really matter much imo because a) both are inaccurate (esp for calories) and b) you are really using it as a relative scale (so as long as you consistently wear the same device that is all that really matters).

Apple Watch is a fitbit plus having a phone on your wrist. You can take and receive calls, texts, calendar reminders....It's more bulky and requires charging every 24-48 hours. I don't love the way mine looks but I'd be lost without it.

I am happy with Apple and feel it works much better as an activity watch.

Thanks. Have you heard of the Fitbit scale syncing with the Apple watch or will I need to input the data manually?

I’ve had Fitbits for years but they’re starting to need to be replaced every year. I also have the Fitbit scale. I’m thinking about getting an Apple Watch instead of replacing my Fitbit but what features will I be losing or gaining? I like to track my steps, stairs climbed and sleep cycles. I also like the data the Fitbit gives me like my weight and body fat over time. Should I just get another Fitbit or will I like the Apple Watch?
