I really miss Loehmann's, too. I have this amazing skirt I got there once for $15 ($15!!! I think it was originally $150). Every time I wear it, I get compliments on how gorgeous it is. Sigh.

I haven't found a replacement, either. Thankfully I still have that skirt!

Loehmann's was amazing. I got so many gorgeous outfits on my shoestring budget as a young professional. I'll have to check out Century 21 one of these days.

+1. I still have scarves I bought many years ago at Loehmann's. Now I go to Saks off 5th or I just watch the sales at Nordstrom and Neimans.

I miss Loehmann's too. Sad thing is that I haven't replaced it. I barely buy clothes anymore and when I do it's for an occasion so I just go to Nordstrom.

I, too, mourn the loss of Loehmanns. I have found no substitute. They had a great selection of petites, and now I'm just stuck with the same old same old at Ann Taylor.

I would say Last Call or Saks Off Fifth for the higher end at Loehmann's, and Nordstrom Rack for the rest. Too bad you don't like Norstrom Rack, though.

So where have you been shopping? Just paying more at regularly priced stores?

I know this is out of nowhere since it's been closed for years, but I can't help but think how much I miss Loehmann's. Does anyone have any recommendations for similar stores in the area? I'm not a huge fan of Nordstrom Rack bc it just feels like they are selling their own brands at a discount. One thing I loved about Loehmann's was the brand variety. I also am not a huge fan of Ross/TJ Maxx bc it they are never organized/clean.
