I applied through SchoolMax. Received a letter in mid-May.

Applied for Woodmore (3rd grade) and got a spot. That was our second choice.
Top choice was Mattaponi but no 3rd grade spots were left by the time I applied.
Capitol Heights was our third choice, but we did not submit an application for that one since we just crossed our fingers hoping we'd land a spot at Woodmore.

I'm interested in applying for a transfer for next year for 1st and 4th grade. Do you mind saying which schools you applied for and got spots? Thanks

We applied during the open transfer season and I got the letter really early (like mid-May). DD is going to 3rd grade.

We were looking at 3 schools and applied through the system (SchoolMax). By the time I actually logged in, our top choice was no longer available for her grade-level, but they had spots in other grades. The school we got accepted for (our second choice) was actually not on the list of schools with available spaces, but was available for selection in the system so I chose it, hoping we would get lucky because of their mistake and we did!

Just curious, when did you hear back about your transfer request?

I also saw they removed some schools from the site--guessing they removed when space was full?

Anyone do a middle school transfer? Would you share where and will you take it?
