I'm not sure I understand the point of your question. If you and the teachers aren't concerned about Adhd then why are you asking?

It presents more as an inability to control focus when needed. As others have said, some kids with ADHD can appear to control their ability to focus when an activity is preferred but seem to have zero ability to focus when they would rather be doing something else, or if there are distractions.

OP, we just can't answer your question. all kids with ADHD can focus for a long time if the task appeals to them and for shorter amounts of time with support. My child with very severe ADHD can read for hours without budging and with such concentration that he might not notice that the house was on fire around him... that is not being able to regulate attention not an inability to pay attention. even in a less appealing task, he can sit and do something for a short time like ten minutes if i eliminate distractions, set a timer, etc.
that is not much time at all.

If he likes math, he may be able to focus on that very well. 10 minutes also doesn’t seem to me to be a very long time to focus, though, unless he’s 4. But we really can’t make a diagnosis based on the little you have posted. But if neither you, nor his teacher, nor he thinks it’s a problem, it’s probably not a problem.

If he just has issues in one situation, then it probably isn't ADHD, or it may be a very mild case.

Can you get his seating in school moved to be around students he finds boring?

Despite the name of the disorder, ADHD isn't so much an inability to focus, but an inability to control or direct one's focus when required to.

Many children with ADHD are able to focus under certain conditions (e.g. away from other people) or when doing a preferred task.

My kid focus for 10 to 15 minutes but has trouble with longer times. Is he completing his work even if it takes longer or is unusually difficult?

My child with adhd can focus for hours on what he wants to focus on.

I have a question my DC has a focus issue as he loves to chat in class but is very smart. He is able to focus for 10 - 15 minutes at home and complete a whole section of math problems without any issues. I don't think he has ADHD and neither do his teachers they just think he is social. I wanted to know would children with ADD/ADHD be able to focus daily for 10 minutes at a stretch to complete any work. We are trying to figure out if we should get him tested privately.
