Try googling Bic, Papermate or whatever brand of pen it was. Maybe they have an 800 number HELP line?

Try hand sanitizer.

My husband just did this while I was away. He cleaned the dryer himself (bless his heart -- I'm not sure how, but he did a great job!). However, he did have ink all over some clothes that he didn't know what to do with. I googled, and found a suggestion to use hand sanitizer (alcohol-based), then cover with stain remover and wash. I did, and it got the ink completely out, even though the clothes had been dried and sat for days.

Agree that if it doesn't come off, it won't come off on your clothes.

If it does come off with rubbing alcohol, it's not coming off. Problem solved.

"doesn't" come off with rubbing alcohol

Man that sucks. I would test dry an old undershirt and see if anything stains before you lose all hope.

I used the magic eraser and got it to "good enough". Didn't have an issue with the ink transferring back thankfully. Though DH is not allowed to do the laundry anymore, and I check all his pockets. He's on folding duty.

Help.
Pen in the pocket of my husband's pants exploded in the dryer. Everywhere. The drum of the dryer is just covered in blue ink. Dried.

I looked on YouTube and found lots of suggestions-nail polish remover worked the best, but not totally perfectly. (was very careful, I know its flammable).

Tried bleach soaked towel, tried a magic eraser, soap and water...

argh!

Brand new dryer!!!

Any ideas??
