Do you value being small? I try really hard to keep a low weight to the point of body dysmoprhia and I would be more annoyed if someone didn't think I was tiny.

If you have to ask whether you like it or not, you don’t. My guess is that you’re not sure how to articulate why. It’s the word “thing.” You’ve been objectified. Basically he said you’re not a person, but a “thing.” That may not have been his intention, but that’s how it comes off.
