What do you mean by misbehavior? Were there issues at camp in prior years (you say fine at camp, what does that mean?)

They can't deny you FMLA just because it comes at an inconvenient time. Losing camp coverage is not a valid reason, but the underlying medical condition may be.

NP. The county camps that my kids go to have a form that specifies when refunds are given for medical emergencies. It also states that children can be dismissed. IOW, no refunds when a child is dismissed.
In OP's shoes, I would ask for a refund but not expect one. Or sue for one.

I think you can ask but I wouldn't hold my breath. Most of the camps I'm my kids up for state that there are no refunds for campers expelled for inappropriate behavior.

Did you sign any paperwork that might state the camp's policy on this?
I would definitely ask for a refund. And if they don't give it, do you have a lawyer friend who could write a demand letter, possibly citing the ADA ?
