OP here. Thanks for your advice! I wasn't trying to be lame or sarcastic. I don't know much about cats and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. (My husband had this cat for a long time before we got married). I guess I feel a little sad that I am turning to screens to help cheer up our pet, but it seems to work.

A smaller screen, like a desktop computer, works better than a big TV. Anything touch-screen should be avoid since the cat might touch the screen stopping the video. be prepared for things to get knocked off the desk.

You tube has lots of videos. Put in 'videos for cats"

Pretty sure you are being sarcastic, since you tossed in the line about your kid liking screen time. But since it would be such a lame attempt figured you might really be asking.

My 17 year old indoor cat has been depressed lately. I think she is bored. Would there be any harm to letting her watch some videos for cats (birds, squirrels) for about 15 minutes at a time? She likes it a lot, just like my kids like their screen time.
