Right after you go from 95 to the road around Richmond there is an exit with some fast casual places.

Also, Buzz and Neds BBQ in Richmond is delicious. They have a location out early Parham Road, not too far from 95.

Lots of options in Williamsburg, but they will add time to the trip getting on and off the interstate.

LOL, that is our routine lunch spot both on the way there and back. It's like the family tradition now

That chick fil a adds a ton of time getting on and of 64.

Victory Blvd location is a lot easier.

Pierce’s is nasty BBQ.

There are million places either direction at Jeff Ave exit.

I just look for a bbq stand at the side of the road. This method has never let me down.

Does this save any time heading north? Not bc of the toll but bc of the traffic?
Never driven this before. (I always go north to N.E. /Canada never south to heat
Thanks!

Your kids won’t die with McDonald’s or a Waffle House for one day...

Need a reco, as we are planning our trip home tomorrow from OBX. Our drive here was easy, except my kids were hungry, despite having millions of snacks along the way. Frankly, so was I. We needed something more substantial to eat. Is there anything like a Starbucks or something a little less fast food-ish but which won't make for a long stop at around the halfway point? Clean bathrooms and decent food? An exit where you routinely stop with your fam? Thanks!
