NP (and fellow FETer), Im a little confused is this real stuff or a joke?
If you follow naturopathic remedies, this isn't confusing. I know everyone has a different path, but maybe you shouldn't call other people's nutritional approaches a joke, at least not without engaging in a two second Google search. Might not be your path, but your ignorance isn't an excuse for insulting people.
Respectfully I think the poster assumed too much knowledge. I wasn’t calling it a joke I was asking. I also prefaced it by saying I was confused. Since the above poster did not specify that these approaches followed a school of thought I was lost. I don’t think it’s on me to go googling w/o context; it’s a discussion board so I asked.
Respectfully, you used the word joke. Respectfully, if you think sometime assumes too much knowledge, do some googling. There's easy context: implantation success warm feet/pineapple/etc. If you don't want to google, just ask nicely. Don't say something is a joke. This is a fraught time, and you know that. Women are following many paths, and I highly doubt one would share her story as a joke.
Thank you, PP. I am the original poster of this comment and I most assuredly did not mean it as a joke. I also had acupuncture before and after my transfer, spent the rest of the day in bed, gave up decaf coffee (I stopped all alcohol and caffeine nearly a year ago), exercised (low impact) daily, and prayed many many times each day for success. My FET worked, but I miscarried in the first trimester. When I have my next FET I will do all of these things again.

I used the word joke in a question predicated with the statement that I was confused by the suggestions. I did not assert these suggestions were a joke. My entire point of responding was to understand why people recommend these things. For example, what is the benefit of keeping your feet warm? From my understanding the pineapple core is the part you throw away (the part inside the ring) and I have no experience eating it. Are there proteins or nutrients with a benefit? As a regular reader of this forum and website, I can easily see some anonymous person posting random things to do as a joke.

Anonymous wrote:We are having our final FET with our final embryos (2 frozen on day 3)...and I'm wondering what i should do in the months leading up to it. I'm at GW and no one talked to me about embryo scratching or anything else. Should I ask about that? I'm also going to try accupuncture. I already eat healthy and exercise. Anything else I should try so that I can feel like I have no regrets/second guessing?
Thanks!
