No, it is not only county board. The Dem ballot has only county board, the Republican ballot has Senate primary. You can vote in either one, so if you don't feel compelled toward the county board primary, you can express an opinion on the Republican senate primary, even if you don't plan to vote for their candidate in the end.

The primary in district 11 tomorrow is to decide which candidate will run against Kaine in November for Senate. It is the Republican primary, but you can vote whether you consider yourself a Republican or a Democrat because Virginia does not require voters to register as members of a particular party.

So if you go to your precinct to vote in the 11th district, there will only be a Republican ballot, but you can vote if you are a Democrat. The 10th has both Democratic and Republican primaries going on. Polls are open from 6:00 am till 7:00 pm, so if you are registered in Virginia, vote tomorrow.

Yes, you do have a primary tomorrow to determine who will run against Kaine for the Senate. Obviously you don’t have to vote in it, but even if you’re a Dem/liberal/progressive, you might consider voting anyway as a statement of whether you feel Corey Stewart is representative of our state’s values.

GOP has a Senate primary.

I was looking for some sample ballots (yes I'm a procrastinator) but the information I'm finding says there's no primary because both representatives are unopposed. So I just wanted to double check with the smart, tuned-in people here. I don't want to show up at the polling place, which is a school, and look like an idiot. I prefer being an anonymous, internet idiot .
