I love the fact that they are on Canal (?) road as you drive east approaching the Key Bridge/Whitehurst freeway entrance. They prevent people from staying to the right until the last second and switching to drive into Georgetown. Those to me are a huge improvement.

Go ahead and do this. Remember that Chevy Chase Village is its own town with its own police force. As the local cops don't have to deal with violent crime very much, most of their time is spent catching vehicle driver violations. They will be very happy to ticket you, which is revenue that goes right to the Village's bottom line.

And just a request for you as you make your way down to St. Albans and then barre class: Remember that Chevy Chase DC residents have their own kids on bikes, dogs and joggers — just like you do in your Village idyll. It's really not appropriate for you to drive 41 mph down our residential streets in your Mercedes GLS. I'm sure that's relatable, if you look up from your phone long enough to think about it.
That's why Cleveland Park is proud to have some of DC's highest speed humps, and we aim to get more!

What's with all of the pylons and barriers that have sprung up at intersections along Loughboro Rd NW? It seems like a waste of money and sends an exclusionary message, like "don't drive in here because it's my street."
