Honestly, I have no idea why and did not ask because we knew our child would not be zoned for that one. Did you tour? We toured kenmoor and everyone was beyond wonderful, even the kids!
We didn't tour (dumb move on our part) but I've been to Kenmoor before and the whole program seems wonderful!
Call to set up a tour. It is not too late. We literally went inside or every class for 6 grade when we toured kenmoor. Very detailed and answered every question and concern. The only downside we saw was no uniform. However, they explained why and where the fault lies in regards to that

We accepted a spot at kenmoor, since that is the one we are zoned for. What exactly are you concerned about?
