You won’t get trips like that in NCSL. But whether you get, say, Fredericksburg or Culpeper is simply luck of the draw.

In three years of NCSL, our longest trip has been from Arlington to Fredericksburg. More typically, we’re in Alexandria, Chanitilly, maybe Centerville.

Does EPIC still play in NCSL? They were almost out in WV. Then on the other end is St. Mary's in deep southern MD. I think at the younger ages they try to group things more geographically, but once you get seeded into divisions you could have a wide range of teams to play.

But you don't play each of these teams each season and half the time they come to you.
It think it ends up being 2 far-away games a season, max.

This starts at U11 and is only for the A teams in CCL.
B teams move to CCL2 at U11 and only "travel" in the DMV--max drive about 1hr.

You play each of these teams EVERY season. It alternates between home and away every other year, but you do end up with significant driving every year. OP was asking about CCL, not CCL2 which barely qualifies as a league.

no,--you're wrong. they play each once club per year (once in 2017-2018). Half are usually away. So like I said, 1 or a max of 2 long trips per season.
And why are you being a jerk about CCL2?

Season = year. Read the whole post a$$. The drives down the 95 to Fredericksburg and beyond are frequent and all who play in it know it involves lots of travel when you add up the total miles. It is not a local league, it is a regional league. Don't play CCL if you don't want to travel, stick to NCSL, OP. Ignore this a$$.

We checked fall and spring schedules to get a full sense - and glanced at older age groups to see if changed at all.

We’re in Potomac. Our son is playing CCL now but will be CCL2 next year (he’s on a B team). The games are generally 30-60 minutes away. When we looked at an NCSL club schedule, we noticed that some would be closer but many would be even further. But you can check the NCSL site for your daughters age group specifically. We’ve noticed that the A teams also travel further as they get older than the B teams so until you know the team placement, it might be hard to compare.

You can easily check this yourself by going to both sites and looking at the current U11 girls schedule.

Can someone please let me know how far of a travel distance for a typical game if a U11 Girls team is in a NCSL vs CCL League?

We are based in the Rockvilke area.

My daughter is in the process of trying out for different U11 Girls travel teams.

Thank you!!!
