My first year growing in pots I realized there were no drainage holes and then water overflowed them during a stormy week. I drilled holes on the bottom on the sides, the water drained out and the plants survived.

They're fine as long as your pots have drain holes.

OP again - I checked this morning and they still look great, which is why I hadn’t moved them inside.

I have a tomato plant and some herbs on my deck in pots. I had moved hem inside during the tornado warnings the other day, but now they’re back outside and getting soaked in all this rain. Should they be inside when there’s this much rain? Please excuse my ignorance as I’m new to this!
