Loved our Cruz. Only regretted it when we had a DC2, but did not end up needing a double for too long, so just got a cheap double for the 6 months we used it for. Then, we reverted to the Cruz with a riding board for our older DC.

If you live in the city and want to go in stores, Cruz hands down.

Stick with the Cruz. So easy to use and basket is plenty big.
If you have another, get a double bob

I had the Vista, then switched to the Cruz. The cruz is much easier to navigate in stores and to get in and out of the car. Much prefer it for a suburban mom who is constantly taking it in and out of the car.

I would only switch if you’re going to have a second and want to use it as a double, OR if you use the stroller for large grocery shopping trips.

It is HEAVY. I do use it in my car and getting it in and out is cumbersome.

Anybody use the vista with a car - meaning getting it in and out of the car? How is that? That's my concern the Cruz I can get out it's so light but I basically store it in the back of my car trunk.

We considered the Cruz but bc we don’t have a car got the vista - can’t tell you how much we love it! Bigger wheels, more storage, and bassinet (plus possibility of using for two kids). It maneuvers great and I had a c section.

This is 14:50 again... before you know it you baby will be ready to sit in the grocery store cart and you won't be taking the stroller for your bigger shopping trips.

I would take DD in the stroller to grocery shop while she was still in her infant car seat and I could just 'snap' it into the stroller base. But once they grow out of the infant car seat it MUCH easier just to put her in a regular grocery cart. Then you won't need to worry about the stroller basket capacity.

I have the Cruz and I've never had any problems fitting everything I wanted into the basket (including pretty epic trips to the Farmer's Market.) I like the smaller footprint and how easy it is to take out of the trunk with one hand, and in and out of the house (sometimes with DD sleeping in it.)

The thing is... part of what you're paying for with the Vista is the newborn bassinet, which your baby is too old for (or right on the cusp of being too old.) You do get the bigger wheels for 'off roading' - but as a city dweller that wasn't a big selling point for me (we just wore DD when we went hiking.)

I had the vista and honestly, I'd stick with the Cruz. The basket is still plenty. You will find the Vista annoyingly huge in many of the situations you describe.

Hi all - I bought a uppababy Cruz for my baby who is not 6 months. I regret not buying the vista when I see the big huge basket. My husband suggested we sell ours and buy the vista. Am I just being dumb? I did try the vista in the store and it is definitely pretty heavy. Thoughts and preference? I use it for short walks, in the mall, on weekend in the park and grocery shopping etc.
