By the point you are comfortable telling somebody you are in a sexless marriage -- you are already deep into an EA, usually. So, the attraction is already there. It may be true (DCUM has its share of sexless marriages, I don't doubt them, and I don't automatically assume that a person is lying when they say they are in a sexless marriage), it may be a lie to get in her pants. Who cares. She wants him in her pants!

Many men who have active sex lives with their spouses do cheat and it is highly unlikely they would tell another woman how active they are. Using having a sexless marriage as an excuse to cheat is a proven winner to get some sympathy. Saying you have sex three times a week isn't going to elicit a lot of sympathy.

I'd have some empathy knowing that most would change the dynamic if they could.
I would think he must be a relatively decent guy to continue to stay in a married committed relationship.

Assuming that is actually true, I'd always thought it would be a big turn-off to tell a woman that - i.e., you are confessing that your wife is not attracted to you, and also that you don't have the balls to divorce her. Yet apparently the OP thinks he is hot.
