Every team I’ve been on has done a group gift (usually a gift card/&) organized by the manager. One year- nobody did anything so we gave our own.

Our team is giving the coach and team manager gift cards collected from parents which is optional. Each go above in beyond in their roles and are loved by all the parents. If it was a coach that was punching the clock and not putting in the effort I don't think we would be inclined to give them anything.

As the travel soccer season winds down, I’m wondering what to do about a coach gift. We’ve always given gifts to our rec league coaches but the travel coach is paid. Is it appropriate to give an individual gift or is it better to organize a team gift?
