About every 3 years. I just got the X. I got it mainly because I heard the battery life is amazing, and it is. And I now very much dislike using a home button on any other devise. The lack of a home button is very nice (and I thought I would miss it).

I had my 5c, which I think was my first one, for almost 4 years. I got that one just for the cost of shipping from Verizon. I actually could have kept in for longer - nothing was wrong with it. My husband and I just switched providers to AT&T a couple months ago and got a BOGO deal, so I got an 8 and he got the upgraded 8?

Yes. Got a battery from amazon and replaced it myself.

Around every 3 years. I recently upgraded to the X for the camera (I was due, and I was going on a scenic trip) and it’s my favorite phone yet.

since my mom and I don't like to pay full price for the new iPhones, we buy online with a 2 year contract. drops the price in half usually. so, I've had all my iPhones for 2 years each. the first two had 16 GB which was horrible! they wouldn't even last me half a year. I currently have an iPhone 7 plus that I got last February with 128 and so far its still working great. battery is good and with my past 2 iPhones also had good battery. I never had issues with them

I’ve only ever owned 2 of them. The 4 that I first got and now a 6 that I replaced it with when we had a use or lose upgrade.

50% replace each year
45% every two years

I can't even imagine keeping a phone for 5 years, I don't even keep my cars for 5 years

I still have my iPhone 5 from 2012. The battery failed after 4 years but was apparently part of a recall so Apple replaced the entire phone for the price of a new battery.

Every two years when I get a cheaper upgrade. By this time my battery is pretty drained.

Same and no.

Have a friend who gets every new iPhone edition during the first week. I have many friends with iPhones that look like their kids threw it against the wall..many times.

People are different.

I average 3 years because I get frustrated at the lousy battery life. But I do feel
Wasteful. Anyone replace their battery and keep their phones longer?
