I heard there are new panels for the appeal process, so wouldn’t they have review and evaluate the whole file, especially in light of the new data?

I'm surprised that your kid didn't get in with the 16 GBRS and 124 CogAT.

What WISC score can combat a low GBRS (11) when your NNAT and CogAT are not in pool? 102s? DD got a 140. Does she stand a chance?

Agree. My DC with a 130 WISC but mid-20s NNAT and Cogat got in. GBRS was 15.

Your DC will get in. It's the GBRS and borderline CogAT that resulted in the denied eligibility. The WISC supports the NNAT so it's a YES.

But please do come back and tell us for sure when u find out, OP!

We were denied on the first round with similar scores so if you do make it in I'm piseed I had to pay for another IQ test.

Strong WISC, which is the best metric.
Good luck.
