Agree!
Does a spiritual mind, if truly spiritual, have to join a religion, even if not morally up to your standard, in order to share your view and perhaps help that religion rise up to your better standard of excellence?
No. I reject the premise that "sharing your view" is a requirement. My evangelical church growing up preached that the way one lives their life is the best witness and way to "win people to Christ"...called their "testimony." That concept stuck with me even after I lost my faith, and I apply it now. I am inspired by others who act in kindness, openness, and honesty and as such I hope to inspire others to do the same.
Religions that teach salvation or damnation through faith have an imperative to share their view in order to protect. The idea their actions are informed by their spirituality and is that those actions will serve as proof for their view that much be shared. Personally, I am generally uninterested in the spiritual motivations behind actions because I don't assume what resonates and inspires me does the same for others.
