Lots of people don’t like her music. Lots if people don’t like Taylor Swift’s music. There is no law that you have to like it. You just have different taste in music than some other people do and vice versa.

I never understood why the Obamas worshipped them so much and encouraged their daughters to view them as role models.

You are not alone. I dislike Kanye's music AND personality. I've always found him arrogant, which is a HUGE turnoff. Don't tell me how great you are - just do your thing quietly and I'll decide whether or not I think you're great.

Im similar. I like Mariah, J Lo, even Britney all much more. I know Im in the extreme minority though and I do recognize her accomplishments as a fellow woman of color and admire her for them.
