I don't understand this process.

They might send out an email and provide a few ways to give feedback (online form, email, meeting dates coming up). It's not that strange.

I won’t be surprised, but there were multiple schools who scored higher on the criteria than either, including Nottingham. Tuckahoe and Jamestown would have too if they hadn’t been magically re iced from consideration. If suddenly 22205 is on the block, then APas will have totally caved.

Jamestown SHOULD be on the short list, and I’m going to be disappointed (but not surprised) if it’s not at least listed as an option (for an option-ha!). And actually I will go farther; I am in favor of Jamestown becoming option, as long as walkers are allowed to attend if they want. I feel that way about ANY neighborhood school that is going to be turned option, actually. Many people factor in a neighborhood school within walking distance when looking for a house-i know we did (although we ended up in bussing territory). I really think it would be crappy if the SB to pull a thing like this to the people who live literally across the street/down the road from a school.
Jamestown is the best choice for a variety of reasons-but I don’t think the SB will piss off this tax base. Worms.
