Pretty sure the data breach with Equifax was the culprit on why our names readily showed up when we googled our own names
How much was it?
The PP you quoted
$200 for 2 people for 2 years of service.

Sounds like a total waste of money since, you know... public records and all.
I prefer my maiden name not to come up on the first 5 results of a google search. Sure, you can probably guess where I was married, find the courthouse, request my marriage certificate, but that is way more cumbersome than, say, typing my name into google and having all my personal info in the open and easily accessible.
You can go through every.single.site and ask each one to remove your info so it doesn't come up on a simple google search. It's a lot of paperwork to do that though. You have to verify yourself, fax/snail mail a copy of your ID, etc. OR you can pay a company to find all the various websites that are will-nilly posting your info and have them do it.
