At some work places powerful men will harass women and try to have sex with them. Some women will be receptive if it will help their careers. Innocent women and men suffer from this. Innocent women will not receive the same career benefits and some innocent men will be marginalized by powerful men if the powerful men perceive them as sexual rivals for the attention of desirable women.

I’d say men are chasing after 75 percent of the ladies. Women chase about 10 percent of the guys until they hit a certain age where they are desperate for marriage and it shifts to about 35 percent. An attractive woman at work will be coveted by and potentially harassed by 70 percent of male coworkers.

Sure, it is super easy for women to find men for no strings attached sex. But most women don't want that. Most women want sex within a the context of a loving relationship. And that is harder to find. So just being able to easily have sex with men they arent in relationships with isnt that much of a plus for most women.

#3 I agree with this. Most men suck in bed and most think they are great/good when they aren't. Even when they know how, many won't put in the effort. Men are selfish or clueless or both when it comes to sex

Yes, it's easier to find a random guy to sleep with as a woman. It's much, much harder to find a random guy that will get you off from a ONS (without your assistance), let alone one that will give you a multi-orgasmic encounter.

Men really do have to learn your body. Each one is different.

Meh I don't want sex with random, gross dudes. So I don't see it as an advantage. Men that want random gross sex can get exactly that. Of they don't have enough sex it's because they are hunting rather than investing is a great women.

I have sex nearly every night with my husband. That's more meaningful, safer and frequent than random sex.

It's 3 for me. And I agree with PP- being willing isn't the same as being desirable, and the fact that many men may be willing isn't something that I automatically count as a win.

You've set up your problem statement to presume that sex outside of marriage is a need or even an entitlement.

I simply don't agree with that and the power dynamics within a marriage are far more complex than captured here.

There was a recent post I'm thinking of, but this is a recurring theme -- it seems a lot of misogyny flows from male resentment of easier access to sex by women. Men have a strong desire for sex and often feel like they have to move heaven and earth to have sex with a woman. Meanwhile, from their perspective, women have to do much less work to get a man to have sex with them and seem to take that advantage for granted.

I wonder how women perceive that issue:

1) The disparity doesn't exist.
2) The disparity does exist, but the benefit is trivial. Sex isn't that important.
3) It's a nice advantage, but it doesn't come anywhere close to offsetting all of the other disadvantages women have.
4) Something else.

Just from some of the discussions I see around here, the injustice of it all is obviously a source of emotional turbulence to some men while women often shrug it off as unimportant.
