So you went to a hotel, and got a rash one time... and now you are worried...
life is going to be hard for you if go down this road and get worried every time something happens.

what are you going to do when you get in a car accident. stop driving. or if you happen to get an upset stomach after going to a restaurant, stop eating out...

but the idea of the king size sheet fold it in half and then sew two open sides so you have an open ended tube....will be cheap and easy.

+1 on sleeping bag liner, but you don't need a fancy silk one, which are for warmth. Look for a cotton one on amazon, and it will be much cheaper.

Or sew 3 sides of a flat king sheet into your own sleeping bag.
Sounds like that situation was a unique thing though.

I have a friend with extreme mold/mite/down allergies who travels with sheets and a zipped duvet cover. A hassle for sure, but makes a huge health difference in their case. You don't need anything special, although I'd make sure to bring a set with deep-pocketed fitted sheets as most nicer hotels have super thick pillowtop mattresses these days.

Skymall used to have that travel sack thing. You could look for that or something similar.

What would be the difference between travel sheets and a regular set of bed sheets??

Ok so I know everyone is going to call me paranoid, but I'm looking to bring my own sheets when I travel. I got a horrible rash that required multiple visits to a doctor and I'm pretty sure I got it from the hotel I was staying in. Should I just bring a top sheet and my own blankets or are there travel sheet sets that are convenient for traveling? I looked on Amazon and saw a few but didn't like that it was closed off at the end.
