If he leaves at 7am, he would arrive to work at around 11am via public transportation (assuming he has no delays and misses no transfers). That's probably too late for him to get into work at a golf course and I'm not seeing any earlier options.

I'd advise Mr. Miller to find a closer job or invest in an excellent road bike. If I were in his shoes, I'd bike and enjoy the exercise.
Yup. What is it with posters who are so concerned with the inconvenience of his losing his license and the ease with which he can get to work? He deprived an infant of his life! This guy just needs to get a job closer, near public transportation. Maybe he needs to buy a place closet to a metro station. Maybe he'll have to get a smaller place of it's closer to metro.
Oh well. Stripping someone of his life comes with all sorts of inconveniences.
