Koons Ford is terrible in my opinion.

I bought my Subaru at Stohlman. I hashed out everything online ahead of time and paid cash. I was still at the dealership for 3-4 hours and I don’t know why it took so long.

I agreed on a model they had listed in stock and ended up with a slightly different car a week later.

13:34 again. Regarding set prices: Fitzgerald essentially seemed to do this. They gave us their best price and then didn't move from it. But Stohlman was definitely better even with the higher dealer fees in VA vs MD.

We bought an Outback from Stohlman last fall even though we live in MD. I emailed all the dealers in the area and then went back and forth with a few, again all via email only. We nailed down the out-the-door price with Stohlman and just went in to deal with paperwork. They try to upsell you on the extended warranty, etc., but weren't too pushy on it. Overall, a very good experience.

I bought my Subaru at Brown's Manassas Subaru. I had a good experience with them.

I had researched the numbers to death.. DH works for an airline and receive a discount. We had gone to stockman too. The two prices were only off by a couple hundred. We went with Farrish because it was closer to home for servicing.

We watch out for the Subaru on Rt 50 on Fairfax (near Chain Bridge Road). We had a transmission replaced there under warranty. They claimed a lot of extra (full price problems). Took the car to our usual mechanic, and they said that the “repairs” are BS. But that a major component had been damaged. Damage was new, and they did not see how it could have been anything but intentional. $1500 repair.

NP. We also bought from Farrish, after going to several other dealers. We were wary at first, given its reputation. But by the time we got to Farrish we already knew what we wanted and the prices offered at all the other area dealership. Farrish gave us a good deal and had what we wanted in stock. It was an easy buying process.

I went to Beyer in 2016 for my Impreza, and was happy with my trade-in, and overall negotiated price. Easy and nice, they were receptive but did not hound me.

We got one at Stohlman and another at Beyer Subaru in Alexandria. Both had prices identical to each other at the time. We went with Beyer for the second one because Stohlman didn't have the color we wanted in stock and would need to truck it in. Beyer had it in stock and knocked $700 off for purchasing that day, so we went with them.

Both have been some of my favorite dealerships to deal with in the area. Highly recommend either.

Stohlman is the best pricing and service I’ve found. There may be a little bit of wiggle room, but generally the “best price” they offer is really pretty good.

I'd like to do all the price negotiating online if possible b/c we don't have hours to give up to buy a car in person -- who do you recommend contacting? We bought our old car at Stohlman, so that is already on our list. Are there any Subaru dealers who offer set prices, no negotiating? I feel like Fitzgerald in Rockville used to do this, but when I looked at their website, it looks like they don't anymore.
