So when you get an offer letter or whatever it’s called, how does that work? Can the club move a player up or down during the year?

U11 plays 9v9. Ideal roster size for players is no more than 14 or 15 if all players usually show up for games so that you don't always have a bunch of kids on the bench. Clubs have an incentive to max out the rosters to get more players' fees. Max roster size depends on the organization under which you play and the league in which you play. Tournaments also have a max number that can be on the roster for the tournament. For U11, the limit is usually 15 or 16.

Are you seeing that tryouts are happening earlier each year? Our club told us it will be the first week of May. Wondering if things are going to keep moving back (like Black Friday) to get kids to accept sooner.
