It's probably a colostomy bag. The person probably needs to empty/change it or let the air out, which cannot be done without causing further stench, so maybe what you're smelling is the lesser of two evils.

Just breathe through your mouth when this person is around and be grateful you don't have one.

My colleague who pays me regular visits and leaves behind a stench smells like they have not wiped their behind after going number 2. Or there is a never-ending fart. I can't stand it. I don't know what to do. It's very uncomfortable but I'm wondering if she has a medical disorder. I don't want to address this with her but want to source if this is a medical issue.
