I would never get engaged to someone I'd only known for six months.

I would appreciate something meaningful rather than something just expensive. If you both like hiking (and your knee is fine) take her hiking somewhere with beautiful views. But I vote think meaningful rather than big.

Her birthday is a little far out ( Memorial Day weekend) but I’m trying to plan something big. We met in December and have had a crazy couple of months.
