What type of student is a good fit for Spelman? What is sorority life campus culture like? Would a non sorority aspiring unconventional (hard rock, nose ring) kind of student be a good fit?

I did not attend Spelman (attended another HBCU) but congrats, OP! I know several friends and neighbors who've attended--many are physicians, lawyers, and other accomplished women--good luck to your daughter!
