They are all so different. So, she should pick by where she wants to work after graduation. There are tons of jobs in DC, so I would pick it, but I'm not her.

Tulane. Mix things up, strong school.

Northeastern if you want Boston or music I guess.

GW for IR and DC internships around the clock or career in the region.

I am a GW grad too (2000) but don't share others' negative feelings towards it. Maybe because I was an international relations major and took full advantage of living in DC by having several very relevant internships? I also came on a large merit scholarship.

And FWIW, I went to grad school at Tulane and was impressed with the undergraduates I met there. The Honors college in particular is very strong.

She is torn between the three and I am unsure how to steer her in the best direction! She is interested in computer science and would like to dual major in English or Psychology. She is also interested in neuroscience. We have visited them all and she loves the vibe at all three equally!

Any opinions?

Thanks!

For computer science these would not have been my first choice, they excel in other areas but not necessarily CS. That aside, GW for sure would be first and Northeastern second, not a fan of Tulane, the kids I. know that have gone but not impressive and I somehow feel there would be more prestige/opportunity at GW in particular and then Northeastern especially with its location.

GW has zero prestige.

It’s just a fun place to spend 4 years if you have the $$, right? Especially because it’s in DC?

Tulane.

I graduated from GWU and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Terrible bang for the buck.

Those 3 aren’t particularly strong in CS.

As a proud GW grad, it would be my third choice of the group for those interests.
