parents have a right to check their kids' phones. I do it, and will continue to do so until they are 18. Why? Because as a parent, I'm legally (and morally and just want to) responsible for my child. So, if your child ever does something really wrong, and you end up legally responsible for it, don't say you weren't warned about checking your child's phone.
