Honestly, that they have a great marriage/partnership. They are choosing each other and it's not because of the children.

If anything, maybe I think their house is likely cleaner than mine and they probably get more sleep.

We don't have children because we are infertile and it didn't happen. Did not have enough money to adopt. If we ever leave the DC area and our cost of living goes down, we may pursue adopting through foster care.

I don't judge. Like the other poster said, who cares? People have reasons to make the choices they make.

I guess it depends on the person?

I think one woman I know is a stone cold B. But that has nothing to do with her decision not to procreate.

I think another woman is career-focused and too anxious and knows it. She is sweet.

Another is unlucky in love, so no kids. Yet.

I think it's a pretty broad category of people.

I don't care at all. Unless you have kids exactly the ages of mine, friends having kids is of no benefit to me. It's easier to get together with friends without kids.

I’d never judge someone on that fact. I might wonder the reasoning behind it for a fleeting moment. Of course I’d NEVER ask some bc it’s not my business.

I got a little shocked reading another topic that there are people who judge those who don't have children. Without asking the reason why they don't?
That made me think to start this topic.
Also what do you think of gay couples without children?
Is that what progressive DC crowd really like?
