You're on the right track OP. Supplements, weight loss and antiinflammatory diet. (There used to be one posted on the arthritis.org website. It included avoiding foods such as potatoes and tomatos ) Exercise in a heated pool is very effective as well.
Nightshade vegetables:
Tomatoes.
Tomatillos.
Eggplant.
Potatoes.
Goji Berries.
Tobacco.
Peppers (bell peppers, chili peppers, paprika, tamales, tomatillos, pimentos, cayenne, etc)
I had hip and knee pain which improved dramatically when I lost 20 lbs. Losing as little as 5 lbs can have a very positive impact as well. I don't even take glucosamine anymore.
