1. the debt you'll rack up to get the degree from the elite college/university will be worth it in the end when you get that high-paying job
2. not going to a "known" school means you'll never make it in life and will always just have a job, not a career

GC: He should really go to Rutgers. He won't get into a better school.
Yeah, Stanford called. He went. He thrived. He graduated. He still hates New Jersey.

Colleges will overlook some grades, but look for an upward trend. Sorry, it's called GPA, Not GPA for Freshman year, Sophomore year, Junior year et .
