Just make sure she has something decent on her feet. Needn't be fancy, but kids need decent shoes to protect their growing feet from issues.

Same thing happened to me. Doctor said it was due to pregnancies.

My tall and athletic Dd is 11 yo and wears women’s size 10. No period in sight yet. I’m just hoping her feet stop growing!

This winter I did buy ugg brand boots vs the generic brand I usually buy and did notice the better quality, and they are in good enough shape for her to wear next year - provided they still fit. (In last years I’ve thrown her boots like this away before the end of winter)

No, of course not. The start of the menstrual cycle is connected to rate of growth, though. Our doc said she’ll likely grow only a few more inches in height.

My DD's feet stopped growing by age 11 or so. She seemed to go from a kid's 4 to a 7 practically overnight and that was the end of it. She still wears a 7 at age 20. (First period was age 12).

Sadly no. I got my period at 10 and am only 5'1 so my height stopped but my feet didn't. I'm a size 8

Mine didn't. I got my period at 11 and I think I wore a 7? I wear a 10 now.

No. She was a size 7 back then and is up to a size 9-10 now depending on the shoe/brand. She's almost 18 and a bit over 5'9". She's not had any height or feet growth since age 16.

No. One of mine is built like her dad's sister, and she wears a 9. My younger daughter is built exactly like me, and wears a 6, so we share shoes when we feel like it. They both started when they were around 10, and if their feet had stopped growing then they would still be in kid's sizes.

My feet stopped growing around age 17. At 12 when I started my period I was a size 5. Around age 17 and up I was an 8.
