OP Here. Not a troll. this is a real post and this is my real life.
We can easily hire cleaners, but she doesn't want to since she doesn't want people in the house when she isn't here. That wouldn't be such a big problem if she actually did something.
The only time she actually cleans is when her mother comes to town.

I've told her before that this can't continue. she usually makes a small effort to appease me, and then its back to normal.
I am now thinking of leaving her. I hear women constantly complaining about their lazy husbands and think to myself that I am a rare commodity. I like to cook, but need help from time to time around the house.
Your marriage must be pretty shaky if you're thinking of leaving because she doesn't wash a couple dishes and forgets to put a juicebox in your lunch.

I’m a woman in your position, although I work the longer hours. Do you plan on having kids? Kids triple your workload (at least), and your DW isn’t likely to change after kids arrive. Even worse, she may decide to SAH but continue to do no work around the house.
If you want kids, I’d get out. Life is really hard with someone who isn’t a functioning adult.

except I can't stand a dirty house. Not OP. I would just stop cooking and the laundry for her specifically. But, yea, hire a cleaner. It's one thing if you can't afford it, though, but sounds like you can? You'll probably still end up doing more of the tidying up and dishes, though. Now you know how most women feel, especially those with kids.
