I love getting perfume from my husband! It’s a gift that is very sensual.

I would love to get a perfume he picked out for my birthday.

We're usually traveling on my birthday. It's our favorite thing to do. We always drive, so the fun lasts longer.

I typically get DW jewelry and or a new designer hand bag she has be eyeing. We typically go away for a long weekend and do a little shopping wherever we are. Also alway throw in a bundle of spa gift certificates for her to use throughout the year.

We don't exchange gifts anymore. We go out to dinner together. Removing the stress of gift giving has been better for us.

But from her perspective it wasn't.

OP, If you want something, be specific. I would also hate getting perfume. But you either have to love his "try" or tell him exactly what you want.
