My ds plays baseball and we have the same problem finding wide cleats. Don't know if they make soccer cleats but New Balance makes baseball cleats in wide sizes. However, I order online because not able to find in stores. I have Amazon prime so I get them within 2 days.

Go to a soccer store, they'll have more selection than a general sporting goods store. I've found adidas to be narrow, but maybe it depends on the style.

We had luck with under armor and new balance cleats for our son that has wide feet.

All I know is the couple of pairs of adidas we have purchased for my son, I've had to really help him get into it, pulling the shoe wide, while trying to squeeze his feet into them. The pairs of Nike cleats, he has been able to get on by himself, no problem.

I agree with some Adidas, but Nike Tiempo (the leather kind) also work for my son. They are actually his favorites. Other Nikes and many other Adidas are all too narrow.

We always have this problem. Some cleats are cut wider. Sometimes my kids have just had to size up a size.

Call PJ's in Falls Church and Springfield Soccer and see if they have them.

OP here: I've gone to both Modells & Dicks in the past but neither carry wide cleats in store. The staff are pretty hit or miss on advising which cleats might fit best for wide feet, so we've left with something but never a very comfortable fit. Hoping that there are other options?

I’ve had better luck buying online from Dick’s for wides. They don’t always carry everything at every store and that way you can tell the inventory. You can buy online and pick up at the store or pay for expedited shipping if you need hem quickly.

My DS has slightly wide feet and Nike seems to fit him better than adidas.
