Surely plenty of other rec programs in the area, right? Stoddert isn't an option?

no one is forced to do "travel", but if you want to continue recreational, local-ish travelling to another area might be the only option.
I have noticed that several players only play the fall season and then play a different sport in the spring.

what is SOTH? Not sure you are going to see many interested in a rec program that is unfortunately small unless it would be those directly involved in. Take your kid(s) to a nearby club that may offer a larger rec program.

Was anyone else surprised to see that SOTH girls U10 soccer is down to only two teams (from four in the fall) for the spring season? Kind of sad that the rec league falls apart at such an early age - forced still interested kids into travel soccer, I guess?
