Please do whatever you need to do to get your self esteem up. Someone seeming nice is not in and of itself a good enough reason to date them, especially with the many negatives this guy has going on.

I think badmouthing an ex is a redflag because it shows that the individual isn't taking responsibility for his part of the relationship, and he is speaking negatively about people behind their backs. They don't have a chance to defend themselves. So, yup, redflag.

You seem to have dismissed the part about living with parents, being angry and refusing to share actual age.
What’s to lose?
Time. And by not going out, she won’t have to have any awkward interactions at work after the bad date.
