We are not military and our child got a spot. Unfortunately, I cannot help with questions because we are new this year.

A certain percentage of Imagine Andrews slots are for children from military families. There is a military lottery that is separate from the PGCPS charter lottery. If you are not military, it may be tougher for your kid to get a spot. Any non-military families had their kids get in?

I applied to Imagine Andrews four years in a row, with no success. However, I have been on a tour. Usually, schools have an open house/tour at some point during the lottery application window. I attended an open house at Imagine Andrews one December, and at Imagine Leeland one January. There used to be a list of open house dates for schools on the lottery website. Even when a school doesn't offer tours, I've been able to arrange a meeting, which resulted in a tour. Good luck!

And they do not allow tours unless you have placement, so it is very difficult to find out much information about the school.
